how can i make my knee pain go away?I have had a messed up knee for almost a year. i am in constant pain. nothing works. I have been to doctors, gotten cortisone shots and no relief. pain killers, resting, ice, heat, biofreeze... nothing works.

I don't know how we can help you. You have tried everything I can think of.
Get an xray and have an orthopedic doctor explain to you what he finds. Something is causing the pain.

Have you had anything in your knee, even the smallest thing, like a blister, clogged artery, anything that was near your knee? It may be acting up from something in your body, so I suggest you take an X-Ray and find out where this pain is coming from at a nearby doctor.

I don't know your age but maybe (I say "maybe") your cartilage is gone, partially at least, and you don't have the "cushion" between your two bones in the knee. So, it's very painful indeed...
My own cartilage is gone and I'm in a lot of pain and I'm too young to have a knee replacement, the docs told me.
You should see an orthopedist and have a scan of your knee.
