Can a Haemophiliac become a Jehovah's Witness?

Can a Haemophiliac become a Jehovah's Witness?Haemophilia is a group of hereditary genetic disorders that impair the body's ability to control blood clotting or coagulation, which is used to stop bleeding when a blood vessel is broken.
As I understand it haemophiliacs need blood transfusions if they even graze their knee.

Briefly.

Very briefly.

I don't know how the JW would handle this issue. I know that hemophiliacs take a medication to help their blood coagulate, but I am not sure if the JW would allow it.

Highly doubt Jehova's witnesses would even approach to convert haemophiliacs.

Hello there! Well, as a Jehovah's Witness, you would not be able to receive a blood transfusion. There are no circumstances under which this changes. If, you were to begin to bleed, you would be forced to decide to either save your life (with the transfusion), or leave it up to Jehovah's will. As a Paramedic and someone who is very scientifically minded, I never could understand this. The Bible teaches us that all life is sacred and should be preserved and lived well. It says nothing about dying due to denying yourself or a family member a simple, life saving procedure. I have seen this happen. I have also seen someone intercede on the patients behalf and get consent from a court or by other means to save a life. The problems come when the patient is bleeding heavily and dying quickly. There is no time to ask for intercession from anyone and the person dies needlessly. I have asked myself many times how this can be right. Medical staff is obligated to carry out the wishes of the patient. There is no way for anyone who has not been in the situation of just having to stand there while someone is dying, knowing that something can be done, all the while your hands being tied due to religious beliefs. I am sorry if I have offended anyone. This was not my intention. I am simply voicing how difficult it is. Anyhow, I hope that this has answered you question. Best of luck to you!

Not if you want to live long.

There is more blood running out of the Tower than all the Cult religions combined. Not even talking those who died when they were wrong about Organ Transplants.

Blood, Watchtower Flip-Flops on Blood Fractions 4 Times

In 1945 the Watchtower Society banned its members from accepting any form of blood, whether it be whole or fractional. Since then the Watchtower have managed to tie themselves up in the technicalities and changing its mind on what is acceptable to what is not acceptable only for it to be acceptable in a few years time.
