I have really bad swelling & pains in my knees and arm. How can I reduce the swelling?

I have really bad swelling & pains in my knees and arm. How can I reduce the swelling?I get REALLy bad pains in my knees and arm. They hurt so bad that I can BARELY walk, meaning I had to find a way to walk. I was in the hospital for this TWICE, and will have to go back if I get what look like chicken pox on my arm and legs when it gets even worse. I REALLY need ways to stop the swelling! Will an ibeprophen work?

any painkiller wiill help but i would just stay off of them and relax tak a hot bath just chill for a while and please answer my question

Ibuprofen is perfect... it's a antiinflammatory which helps inflammation and pain. Just take it with food because it can upset the stomach....

You should take a picture of what looks like chicken pox... it could be that or a rash....

also try using ice to help inflammation in the joints and sometimes a nice soak in the tub can really feel good too...
