Knee Disorders: If you have bad knee pain should you go to the ER?

If you have bad knee pain should you go to the ER?Okay, I have had bad knees for years, and I've always had bad knee pain, and I've had knee surgeries and stuff like that, but it today my pain is very severe?!?!!? It really hurts, should I go to the ER?
