Had a knee injury from running 4 months ago, never fully healed,?I ran track and I injured my knee (no stretching, overtraining), and it never fully recovered because time to time I feel the discomfort. I do have the sleeve for support but I want it to be fully recovered. Every week or so i jog 1 or 2 miles couple times a week. In a month or so im going to start training for a half marathon. What can i do so i can help my knee now so it wont be a problem when i start training?

If you are jogging a mile or 2 a couple of times a week, you are training. Stop if you want to be fully recovered. For it to be ongoing, you must of tore something, meniscus, cartilage, tendon and would have needed a doctor to deal with it. Ask them what to do to rehab and follow the instructions this time. I suspect you didn't before.

Truly knee injury's never really go away. I've had Patellar Tendonitis since the eighth grade, and its my sophomore year. The brace probably will help, but I guess you have to ice religiously, i tend to slack on the icing and it does backfire. hope this helps !
