I have inflammation of my knee. How do I treat the painful ligament area which is painful to the touch?I am taking prescription anti-inflammatory meds but it's the "hot" spot where the ligament is affected that really hurts.

With inflammation...sounts like anti inflammitory pills. Thats what they gave me. Be careful tho if you got to work...not trying to be funny or sick but they tear your stomach up and you wont be able to work on them.
