how can you soothe pains in your knees?i play allot of soccer so im constantly running and using my legs. my knees have been hurting lately .any suggestions for soothing the pain?

I have rheumatoid arthritis, and my knees ache fiercely on most days. That is, they ached fiercely on most days, before I discovered the benefits of moist heat. You can do this by soaking a towel in hot water, wringing it carefully, and then placing it over your knees with another on top to help hold in the heat.
Or, you can do as I did, and splurge on a moist-heat pad. The effects are just wonderful, like a little slice of heaven. :)
