knee pain after exercise?my weight is 97 kgs that is 20 kilos etc than required.
i usually cycle. sometimes my brother sat behind me n the cycle. when i cycle faster with him siting i have to apply a lot of force and my knee started to pain after i rested. this continued while i walked or climbed stairs. but this stopped after 3-4 days after giving rest to them by putting very less strain on them. this happened 2 times before. then i preffered to cycle alone. now after two years the same happened. i started to do exercise. i would cycle, walk , run alittle bit.
for 15 days it was fine
but one day i cycled with a lot of pressure. usually there is a tension meter on it and i set it to 4 or 5 suddenly and continued with the same speed as previous. it put a lot of force.
i also walked with a speed greater than previous. increasing it from 6 to 8 then to 10 in one go.
after coming home my knees started to pain. some times it is inupper portion sometimes it is inner and sometimes it seems to come from inside.
what could be the reason and what could be the cure

When muscles have pain around them they react by tightening up their tendons. For your knee that tendon is the one to the kneecap. when this tendon gets tight it pulls the kneecap up on and into he knee making it hard and painful to bend the knee. I am guessing that this is what happened to you for without anything else having happened to the knee it's the most logical thing to be. Here is how to release the tendon for your kneecap:
Kneecaps:
Do while sitting on a chair with no front cross braces.
While sitting have your leg resting in a stretched mode. Place both your thumbs, side by side, about 2 inches behind the kneecap and press down into your leg and then redirect the pressure a little towards the kneecap. After 30 seconds, slowly slide your foot back and under your chair as far as it will go, release the pressure but hold your foot there for another 30 seconds.
For this to work the most important thing is the pressure on the leg, if there isn't enough this won't work. If you do have that happen to you try it once more right away.

It sounds very much like you are dehydrated. Your kidneys provide the "power of the body" and if they become insufficient, you will get knee pain and problems. Proper hydration when exercising, especially, is critical to good kidney function. 60% of the water you drink goes to the kidneys to allow them to function properly. 24% goes to perspiration and 12% to the lungs. When you are using lots of water to make perspiration and expelling lots of moisture from the lungs to keep them moist while exercising, you will deplete the water going to the kidneys.
The average person needs water at the following rate:
Take your total body weight and divide by 2. That number is the amount of water in ounces that you need to drink each and everyday. Along with that, you should consume 1/4 teaspoon of "air dried sea salt" in conjunction with each quart of water you drink. This puts the electrolytes in your body that will give you proper hydration. The typical white table salt you buy in stores like the Morton Salt, for instance, is terrible for you and has loads of chemicals added. Avoid that junk. If you drink ANY diuretic drinks like, sodas, coffee, tea, alcohol, commercially prepared fruit drinks, energy drinks, etc., these all dehydrate you and you will need to add more water to the total to compensate for the water loss due to these diuretic drinks. Take the total ounces of the diuretic drinks and multiply by 1.5 and add that total to the original total to come up with the proper amount of water you need to drink each day.
You have to take into consideration that the above is for someone that is not exercising a great deal. You will need to add to this water and minerals to be well hydrated. Do NOT discount the need for good minerals because electrolytes are critical to good body function. Those commercially prepared drinks like GATORADE are really bad for the body. It's all synthetic junk that can damage the DNA. Real water, real minerals are critical to your success here.
Good luck to you
