Pain and bruising of the knee with no injury....?

Pain and bruising of the knee with no injury....?x-rays show no bone injuries, orthopedist blew me off, I have bruising on both the medial and lateral (inside and outside) sides of my knee, it is only in my right knee. The pain is worse after activity especially climbing stairs or driving, also standing on my tip toes causes a sharp pain in the back of my knee. Any suggestions on what may be causing my knee symptoms??

by what I'm hearing it's not the bone, but instead I think it's the cartilege in your knee. You could have torn the cartilege in your knee by doing mild workouts. You should get this checkedout by your doctor as soon as possible because without the cartilege supporting your legs and knees, your bones would rub againt eachother creating the brusing you have now.

Hope the info helps
