Pain just below knee cap on right leg. The pain is on the inner side. What could be the problem?Yesterday I had to get on my knees to retrieve something from under the bed. When I tried to get up I couldn't it hurt to put the least bit of pressure on my right knee. I had to use my wife's walker to finally get up off floor. Since then I have had severe pain to the inner side of my knee just below knee cap. I don't currently have health insurance and I'm looking for a job. What could be the problem?

Since you don't have previous history of knee problems, and no significant mechanism of injury, I'd say that you just could have twisted it in a awkward position. Use ice, motrin, and keep it in a position of comfort.
It's hard to say without knowing your age, etc. As long as the leg doesn't feel abnormally warm or cool, numb, etc, you should be fine.

sounds like cartilage problem to me. if you cannot go for a checkup then I suggest lots of rest, avoid straining the knee like you did and keep it warm.

first go to a consultant or Doctor tell him/her about it then just like move it very gently ok
