Is Draining Knee Bursitis a Big Deal ?

Is Draining Knee Bursitis a Big Deal ?I fell hard, a little while ago, a bursa sack in my left knee was damaged and now i have water knee, the damage was minimal no sergury will be required, it its a one time thing, doctos keep screwing me around, wasting my time trying to get themselves money, is it a bid deal to drain it ? is there anything sergical to it whatsoever, if i take rubing alcohol put it on the spot, stick a syring in there drain it, put some neosporin and a bandaid, i really don't see that as a big deal,

Yes and No. The problem with draining the knee is in obtaining the fluid. You admit you fell, you damaged the knee and now they want to drain, but what happens 'if' they find out you have a infection? Likewise in draining the knee, opening it up to a needle, they could allow a infection to enter. This is why is can be a BIG DEAL and they need to weigh up both sides. Best of Luck
