Will acupuncture help my knee?I've been playing football for a while and whenever i run, my left knee starts to hurt. Same if i straighten my leg fully. I am 13 and i have ice'd and rested it but it still hurts!! My mom considered acupuncture and i am hesitant. Will acupuncture cure my knee pains when i run??

Acupunchure uses nerve electrical impulses to massage different areas
of the body depending where the pain is to stimulate blood circulation
to help relieve the painyou need more information on fibrin.
You need to order a free catalog on ArthroZyme which covers all sources of pain. Give'em a call you have nothing to lose and the catalog is free.

Acupuncture can and does relieve knee pain. Next to back pain it is one of the most common things Acupuncturists treat.
At 13 with the additional knowledge that you play football and run, I would recommend seeing your primary care physician first to rule out structural damage to the knee (torn meniscus, ACL/MCL damage). Acupuncture can help with pain management in these cases, but it will not repair those structures.
Finally, no matter what medical intervention you use, you are going to have to rest that knee. You will have to take a break from running, and football. Might be just for a couple of weeks. Could be longer.

I would see a Dr. and not play football until he the Dr said so you could be doing unseen damage every time you play. good luck
