My ankle and knee joints are sore and are keeping me from running, and even walking fast. What should I do?my muscles aren't sore, just my joints. I've already tried stretching and putting them in warm water. Warm water worked only partially.
my lacrosse practices have started up so it's not a big problem I'm justing trying to see if there's a quick fix that I can use.
After I run, my feet start throbbing then subside, but while I run, my knees are sore.

See a doctor. May be bursitis or tendinitis.

Try fish oil, you can get it at GNC. I had the same problems with running and within a month of taking some fish oil twice a day I no longer had the problem.

I hate to say this, but you are growing . . .
It's a combination of unusual stress from running and growing pains. If it's really bad, pop an Advil or two, but I had the same problem during the soccer season, and if I were you, I would wait it out, since you will get used to the strenuous work out and your joints will too. Glucosamine Chondriton (can't spell) is really not for kids so I wouldn't do that although some are reccomending it. Good Luck
