What is the best remedy for knee pain stemming from tendinitis?I have patella tendinitis and it goes in to remission for months at a time. But sometimes it flairs up and really hurts.

Tendonitis is definatly not fun.
When you have flair ups just take a NSAID (non steroidal Anti-inflammatory)
But you will have to figure out which one works for you.
Ibuprophen (advil)
Acetominiphen (tylenol)
ASA (asprin)
Naproxin
Those are the most common ones that you can pick up at any drug store.
Some work better for other people... you'll just have to figure out which one will work for you

Hello,
Have you thought about wrapping your knees?
Remember those drugs up there will tear up your stomach so make sure you eat something, drinking milk (eating bread, crackers too) works for me while taking those.
My doctor brought up giving me more of those shots, I have had them before and feel they hurt more then the pain of the tendinitis but you might like them? Everyone is different.
Wish you well!
