Will a broken leg and torn knee ligaments earn a soldier a medical discharge?After receiving a medical discharge, does that soldier get vet benefits?

depends on if it was a line of duty injury. They may just put you on a permenant profile

I don't know if it will give you a medical discharge since it will depend on if you can still do your job once it is healed.

I do know that if the injury is in the line of duty you can get a VA dissability rating. Start during your outprocessing. Do not wait until you are out or it will take a long time to get your rating.
