Any cardio I can do while I'm down with a strained knee?I was running last night when I started to get some pain behind the upper part of my kneecap. There is no pain when I'm not running on it. I am Icing it and keeping it elevated.
Are there any exercises or things I can do to keep working cardio without aggrevating this injury?

one thing you can do to improve running results is to do ab workouts. do a lot of crunches, sit ups etc. you can do the plank exercise

another exercise that i find is very effective is what my old xc coach calls "roadkill". laying on your back, hold one leg fully extended about 6 inches off the ground. the other leg, hold at a 90 degree angle in the air. this is a very intense exercise. i would say start at 1 minute, and work up 5 seconds every day.
hope this helps
