Bad Knee pain, popping sound weird feeling?About a month ago, i fell down and my knee hit a concrete floor, i hit it pretty hard and it wasnt one of those i slipped and landed some of my weight on my knees, no i fell directly and all my 200 pound landed on my left knee, it hurt a lot for about 1/2 hour, then the pain went completly away after 3 days, but there was always a popping sound i would here everytime i kneel down, then there was a uncomfortable pain everytime i would get up. i started a new job that involved a lot of lifting bending and kneeling, my knee is sore all day and when i get home eveything hurts, what should i do to make some of the pain go away. im not expecting to cure my bad knee.

if there is an injury somewhere in the past, x-ray has to be done to rule out fracture. there might be fracture in the patellar bone or the knee cap and this may be the cause of the popping sound you are experiencing. sometimes it might be another problem not related to the injury like osteoarthritis so blood test will be require to check for uric acid level in the blood.

all can say is good luck because i was in a car accident almost 9 years ago and had the same thing with my right knee and 2 surgeries later still nothing but problems. im 24 and now have 3 screws in my leg and it still gives out and i fall and it pops and feels weird all the time.
