can crystals help my horse's arthritic knee?rescued a gorgeous QH gelding from killpen. but he has a bad knee due to old injury prob caught up in wire by the looks of scars. he gets bute every other nite in feed. i am currently getting into more holistic life path and a clear quartz crystal has been amazing for me now i wonderxif getting many smaller crystals making a comfy wrap and applying to his knee, may bring him relief? OR i was going to order a magnetci knee wrap made for horses? which would anyone recomend? thanx

Probably a magnetic knee wrap. I may not agree with your whole holistic style, but my unbiased opinion is that a crystal is a rock. A pretty rock. Not medication, not topical ointment, nothing. I'm sorry to say, but your pretty rock won't do anything but get dirty against your horses leg. Take him to a vet or call a overnight nurse, don't waste your time with crystals.

where ever you buy your feed, look for some vet wrap.. this should just add some support to his knee.. as for the bute, i'de slow down on it.. it can cause ulcers or even colic.. not to be a jerk, but i'd re do this question in the horses section of pets.. i'm sure they will have some better answers.. ask your vet about something less potent than bute..
