Can I try kickboxing if my knee is not completely cured from a sprain?I did 15 sessions of physical therapy because I had a knee sprain. It's much better but I still feel something inside once in a while. Can I try kickboxing (I never did it) or should I wait that my knee feel perfect? Is kickboxing especially demanding on the knee?

wait till ur knee fully recover and get permission from ur doctor. Knee sprain is a serious problem if u didnt treat it right.
well. kickboxing will use ur knee alot, the impact from doing a strike, and running program also included in muay thai and kcikboxing.

Please wait until you are fully recovered before you attempt kickboxing. Kickboxing uses a lot of kicks, and knee strikes. If you haven't recovered fully, you may risk aggravating your injury.
If you must attempt kickboxing, then let your instructor know about your knee sprain. Then he or she can instruct you on blocks, hand strikes, the clinch, maybe very light footwork drills, but no kicking.

Give your knee a little more time to recover. Kickboxing is very demanding of the knees.

Don't be too eager to get into kickboxing.Relax, take it easy.Let your knee fully recover before you start joining. If you get into a spar and it hits your knee, your sprain may become more worst. So my advise is DON'T.
