Has anyone had the synvisc injections and if so was it painful and did it relieve knee pain?

Knee pain is caused by tight tendons on a muscle in the knee and to get rid of the pain, not cover it up so more damage can be done to your knee, you have to free up the tendons. As they can be difficult to do and the medical field doesn't know how which you should already know if you have been to a dr. already, you have to have one trained in them to help you out.

Ok i will give you the good and the bad.
My mom had these injections and they worked WONDERS for her. She was pretty much pain free for 6 months. And here comes the BUT, her knees where not in that horrible of shape to begin with.... now the bad.....
My knees are in really bad shape but we wanted to make sure that we tried EVERYTHING that we could. The shot itself I am not gonna sugar coat this at all HURT LIKE A BITCH!!!!!!!!!!! and that is an understatement.
it gave me NO pain relief at all it was the biggest waste of my time.
Now i am not saying that it will not work for you, but my doc was honest he did not hold high hopes for the injections and told me from the get go but I was grasping at straws trying to get away from the pain.
