I have joint pain in big toes, lower back, knees and hips. What can I take?I've been taking ibuprofen for about ten years. I get gout. I've had accupuncture, phy. therapy, steroid injections and I've been doing stretching. All without improvement. Do the condroitin, osteo flex, etc. over the counter meds work? Does anyone have any suggestions? I need help. Can't play golf anymore. Looking for some relief. I've never taken vicodin.

Get an evaluation from a good chiropractor. Your body sounds like it is out of alignment. Also, find a good sports massage therapist to release the tension in your muscles that this misalignment of your bones has caused. ibuprofen has not fixed the problem, it has just concealed it, not to say what it has done to your liver. steroids, the same. I have read that tart cherry juice, natural, no sugar, of course, helps keep the uric acid from forming in your joints, also helps with muscle aches. Make sure you are drinking lots of water as well,
good luck.
Do Not Take Vicodin
Fix the issue
Vicodin is addictive, and just to cover up the pain
