Inner and front of knee pain? Please Answer.?

Inner and front of knee pain? Please Answer.?I've had inner knee pain for a month. I hurt it tumbling somehow. My knee randomly pops, the popping is loud and feels like it's popping inside the joint. My knee also grinds, and crunches. It's swollen, and there is a small bruise along the inside of my knee. It hurts to walk on it. I got a brace hoping it would help but it didn't. I was tumbling a few weeks ago and I forgot my brace so I tumbled without anything supporting my knee. Now I have pain in the front and side of my knee. I sometimes get pain in the back of my knee as well. The pain gets so bad I can't sleep, and I want to cry. Can someone please tell me what's wrong.

you should go to your doctor.

Boy, I sure wish I could. I would strongly suggest seeing a doctor, and probably getting referred to an orthopedic specialist. I too have pain in my knees sometimes, so I am starring this to see what kind of answers you get.

Good luck sweetheart, and I hope you get some relief soon : )

it is your MCL , maybe torn you need a doctor and maybe surgery and 8 weeks rest. even if it is sprained you need a dr and 4 weeks rest

It is ligament damage of some type. Since it hasn't gotten any better over a month, you need to have it examined by an orthopedic doctor. Here's a link to knee ligament injuries that I found with a quick Google search:

Immobilization is the best for your knee but I am sure that is not possible with school and all. The more you use it the longer it will bother you. it is nothing serious, simply follow your doctors orders and over time it will get better. This is one of those longer term injuries which take longer to heal. Do not get too anxious to injure it again as the next time longer healing time will be needed.
