Knee Disorders: I get sharp, stabbing pains in my knees and thighs when I run?

I get sharp, stabbing pains in my knees and thighs when I run?I have a job that involves lots of running and kicking and round-house-kicking and other things that I'll need to not be in pain to do.

I really need to keep that job.
I'm a bodyguard.
And I definitely can *not* see a doctor.

I believe you need the right pair of shoes do some research on walking/running shoes and your posture when your running may have a factor in it also. So do research on shoes and running/walking posture and see if it helps.

What the heck kinda job do you have? Are you a Tai Kwon Do instructor or something? You need to be checked out by a doctor coz it sounds like you definitely have a medical condition that shouldn't be ignored. I have the same symptoms and my doctor ordered some blood tests and lab work analysis and stuff and put me on steroids for a while to see if he can get it under control. Without knowing your age I can't say if your problem is the same as mine but my doctor has a name for my condition but it's one of those medical terms and I have no idea what the heck it is. I think he used letters like maybe PMR or something. It stands for Polymialgia Rheumitosis or something weird like that. Anyway one of the tests he ordered at the lab was called a sed rate test. Something to do with red blood cells. Don't just ignore it coz It can be serious whatever it is and you know what they say, the earlier any medical problem is detected, the better chance of getting it under control with less trouble. Good luck whatever it may be.
