Knee Disorders: Knee pain, swelling, etc. Diagnosis?

Knee pain, swelling, etc. Diagnosis?I have had a knee injury for nearly two years now. I did a bad leap at dance and since then, there aren't enough words to describe the different problems I have had..

And every time I get into a doctors office, I don't ever know which symptoms are rel event. So Here is my last chance at trying to at least figure out what is wrong with my knee.

My symptoms include:
~Pain (stabbing, sharp, and aching)
~Swelling (When I wake up in the morning my knee is roughly 13" around. By the time I get home from work { I am a gymnastics, cheer and dance coach } it is anywhere from 14" to 18" around.. This usually goes back down by the next morning after a night of ice and anti-imflamatories)
~Giving Way (I have yet to figure out what triggers my knee to give way, it has happened from my running down stairs to walking around a corner.. Sometimes it is only partial sometimes it completely goes and I fall. I wish I had more to say on that one...)
~A feeling of my knee cap being in the wrong "spot" or "track" (I have a constant feeling of needing to "pop" my knee. Like it is in the wrong position causing it to simply "feel funny". Not really a painful position, just uncomfortable. The only way I can get it to "pop" is to physically push my knee cap around until it pops, or twist my to the medial side, or even just try and lock my knee and hope that does the trick.

If anyone has any idea what could cause all of these symptoms I am all ears! Thanks so much for your help in advance and if you ask me a question back look for my response in the "additional details" section of the original question.

I have tried
Physical Therapy
Narcotics
Anti-Inflamatories
Ice
Heat
Elevation
Rest
MRI
X-Ray
Compression
And just plain trying to suck it up.

Different surgeons have suggested:
ACL Tear
PTFS
Meniscus Tear
Jumpers Knee

The MRI has a lot of "grey" areas that are hard to read causing lots of different opinions as to where to go from here. But all of the suggestions I have received from doctors don't explain everything. Only bits and pieces of what is wrong..

Anything is helpful, thanks guys!

I take Tramadol, APAP Codine, Ibuprofen, and Naproxen

Some more than others.. I don't really want to simply cover up the pain, I want it fixed. I am only 16 and am not ready to give up my golf scholarships I have been promised...
