Knee Joint Problems And Need Help?My father has had knee joint pain for quite awhile now. He has taken some medication but it does not help much. Can someone give me any suggestions on how to releive some pain from his knees. Any medication or treatment ideas are highly appreciative. Thank you.

He could look into physical therapy and strengthening exercises as well as glucosamine, chondroitine sulfate, and chili supplements. Possibly injections of hyaluronic acid into the joint.

There is an old remedy called Honegar you may want to try for pain. It is organic apple cider vinegar with the mother and local raw honey mixed in spring or distilled water.

Glucosamine is also good for joint health.

I use a couple of supplements that help my knee joint discomfort. Glucosamine & Chondroiton, as well as MSM. There are many supplements that contain all three of these in one pill. I take around 1500mg a day. Also I take emulsified cod liver oil. I take one spoon full in the morning. These are very helpful and I notice when I forget to take them. There is a natural heating cream called flexi-gesic that helps also to loosen up my knee. I put it on before bed and in the morning.

What I have done for joint problems:

I take a product called Joint Care which contains glucosamine, chondroitin, aloe, collagen and MSM.

Colloidal silver and colloidal gold

Hyaluronic Acid

Omega 3's and fish oil

Silica

Plant derived trace minerals

Topically - Dr. Christophers Complete Skin, Bone and Tissue ointment, followed by Jason's Cooling Gel followed by Blue Emu ointment (available at Wally Mart)

I am not sure if all of the above are necessary, but the combination worked wonderfully.

Many times the pain is caused by damaged or worn cartilage and inflammation. He should take Glucosamine (has anti-inflammatory properties) and Hondroitin (help rebuild cartilage) supplement for sometime until it goes away. You can buy it in any store.
I am using a product made by MegaCare for all joints and back pain, it works in a shortime and your father sould feel the relieve in couple of days.
