Who is "the" knee doctor to go to in Chicago?

Who is "the" knee doctor to go to in Chicago?I had an accident 2 years ago where my bodyweight landed on my knee. I have seen other doctors from outside of Chicago and neither could tell me what was causing my knee pain or could help me with the deformities I feel within my knee. I am new to the area, and so, if there is some great knee expert in Chicago that has a great reputation or you personally recommend, I'd love to hear who it is so that I can seek treatment. Thank you!

When you landed on your knee the tendon for the muscle to your kneecap did it's normal reaction to pain, shortened itself up, pulling the kneecap up on and into the knee to make it hard and painful to bend and/or straighten your knee. That tendon can be freed up to get rid of the pain but is difficult to do and should be done by one trained to do so. Just for your information about this for a tight tendon doesn't show up on any of the tests they do for you so if surgery is brought up he is out in left field.
