military discharge because of knee issues?


military discharge because of knee issues?could i get discharged from the air force because the military doctor finds i have un fixable knee problem?

It depends on what type of problem it is. I have had knee problems forever it seems like. I wasn't discharged for it. The Army attempted to fix it. I was given a profile to do an alternative for the P.T. Test. I was allowed to retire, because that is what I wanted to do. I was even given up chits for flight duty. When I retired I was given 20 % for each knee from the VA, but with VA math its not 40%. That's is a question that only VA knows.

But it all comes down to you. I wouldn't let them discharge me. Get the problem fixed and documented for later. Stay in and retired
