My friend, Last month I went to costco (superstore), and an old lady serving drinks came up to me and said, "Do you want to try Fish Oil," I gladly said yes since its a free sample. To make this short, the fish oil taste like crap, but it really helps your joints and muscles. give it a try.

Read the Best Seller"The Arthritis Cure", by Dr. George Theodasakis , or the Revised Edition , by Jason Theodasakis, M.D.
There's a website you might also try "Dr.Theo".
I don't know of a better product than glucosamine -chondroitin . There is a table in the first book , I mentioned , that tells you the proper dosage to buy .
If you shop around , you can get almost 200 pills for around $ 22.oo-vs- $ 30.00 for 30 pills at most drugs stores .

Hi, Jimi;

I've been using G/C supplements for almost a year now. You need to start with 1500/1200 mg daily for about a month, to build up a residual amount in your system. After that, back off to 1000/800 mg daily. I buy Spring Valley brand at Wal-Mart. A bottle of 60 500/400 mg tablets is about $ 10. It worked wonders on my arthritic ankle. Good luck!

Costco has a good supplement which helps but you mentioned "osteoarthritis" so to be sure you will want to do a private Dr consult first because those supplements may be ineffective for your situation. The Dexascan and other tests will prevail and direct your doctor into what you should be taking... for example Fosamax or others may or may not be right with the supplement, age, conditions, etc are all factors.

Talk with your doctor first.

FYI for some weblinks below- it's a wide area (osteoarthritis of the knee)
