are there any over the counter medicines that can remove excess knee fluid?Im pretty sure I have what they call "Water on the knee"....is anyone familiar with any meds that can help remove it? Its very uncomfortable

see your doc. diuretics aren't usually safe (because of possible dehydration issues) unless there's a medical importance to use them.

Usually excess knee fluid is caused by overuse. Try to knee brace if you have to exert yourself and keep your leg up while sitting down. NSAIDs can help if it is swollen; however, if it is hot and swollen, go see a doctor. If that doesn't help, the fluid can be removed but it has to be done under sterile conditions. Diuretics would not do anything.
