Any ideas on what could be causing sudden pain behind my knee?Starting a few months ago I'll sometimes feel sudden intense pain behind my left knee when I'm sitting down and I move my leg in a certain way. I then straighten my leg, feel a slight pop, and then the pain immediately goes away. Any ideas?

It sounds like you're using your left knee for more than it was meant to be used. It might be a clutch or machine use. It's totally normal, if you're using it excessively. Water builds up around the joints to protect them from harm. There are medications that can help. A check up with your doctor might be in order. There are so many medications that don't affect alertness or concentration that can be prescribed.
