Serious knee joint pain. Can not rest knee because of restless leg syndrome and plmd?Consistently in pain.?I am 33 and have a partial tear in my cruciate. I can not immobilize my leg due to rls and plmd which is a movement disorder. I take glucosamine msm and omega3's which helps somewhat.My rls is profound right now so Im begging for some suggestions.

I do take medications for rls but unfortunately rls is stronger

You should try an inversion table. Do not go full inversion but partial. This will extend the knee and allow the joint to seperate enough to allow natural fluids to fill back in. Doing this over time the pain should subside. Warning. You will have to become accustomed to being upside down. You will be dizzy the first few times you do it and this is very important .... the first several times when you step off the machine ... you will have intense pain for a brief moment. That is the joint going back into the original position. After a few days as the fluid returns to cushion the joint you will notice the pain leaving.

call your doctor and tell him you need medicine for restless legs syndrome. i take MIRAPAX when i have rls. in the meantime drink milk and nibble on something sweet. this might help untill you get the med. good luck.
