What can I expect after arthroscopic knee surgery?

What can I expect after arthroscopic knee surgery?I'm having arthroscopic knee surgery on Tuesday. They are cleaning out the cartilage behind the knee and then they are going to make a small incision on top of my patellar tendon and poke holes in the tendon to promote healing.

What can I expect after surgery? Will I be able to bend my knee? Will I need cruthces?

Thanks!

You will probably be stiff for a few days. You may need crutches early on. You will need some Physical Therapy to help get you up and going which will take a few weeks.
