How to choose a knee brace for a pulled muscle and possibly arthritis?

How to choose a knee brace for a pulled muscle and possibly arthritis?I need a knee brace for a pulled muscle and arthritis and I don't know which knee brace to pick from my options are an Adjustable Hinge Knee Brace, Self-Adjusting Knee Stabilizer, or an Adjustable Knee Support. Thanks to all.
Note: at work I do alot of bending and picking up heavy boxes.

You should choose for support as well as comfort. You can pick up a good one at Wal-Mart. Neoprene Knee brace w/plastic supports that run down the inside/outside of brace, velcro adjustable straps at top/bottom. Excellent for bending and walking.

a brace should not be used for a pulled muscle;; frankly, you have no muscles in your knee;; & the only thing the brace will help you for re: your arthritis is the simple fact that the support (the compression) helps you to FEEL more confident about your knee..functionally, it won't do a thing;; you may want to take this question up with the doc who diagnosed you..sounds like your better bet is to get a PT referral, for both conditions...& btw, all of those braces that you've submitted are entirely wrong for you EVEN IF the doc ordered you one...again, under your conditions, the brace won't help you..waste of money..use it on PT...stretches & strengthening gently & progressively for your pulled muscle;; & strengthening for your lower legs are required;; the stronger your legs, the less demand on the joint itself;; but a PT referral will help with the specifics...
