went to Emergency room they said i have Torn Knee Cartilage and torn ligaments?they then put me in a wheelchair for 2 months..said don't walk on it at all...is this normal?

Go to an orthopedist for a second opinion. ER docs will keep you from dying, but they have no idea how to make you better. They are there in case you are dying or in case you have severe pain. Other than that see a specialist. You probably need arthroscopic surgery.

Ligaments are VERY hard to injure and very painful. Yes It's normal to be in a wheelchair after that, ligaments take a long time to heal, and If they don't heal correctly you can be looking at a pretty messed up knee!
Stay off it unless you want to end up like House lol!
