What ligament mainly keeps the knee straight?


What ligament mainly keeps the knee straight?on the outside of the knee, in the soft area of the knee. Which ligament(s) r in that area? Your help is appreciated.

Ligament which keep knee straigt are anterior and posterior cruciate ligament.on outside of knee there is fibular collateral ligament.

There are four ligaments that stabilize the knee. In the center of the knee you have the acl and pcl, the anterior crucial ligament and posterior crucial ligament. These connect the tibia to the femur. On the back you have two that connect the fibula to the femur the inside is the mcl (medial collateral ligament) and on the inside you have the lcl (lateral collateral ligament). I think you are talking about the lcl but I can't really tell from your description.
