help diagnose knee disorder?when i was born i could not crawl i would only lay on my stomach and pull myself forward, then when it was time to walk i couldn't so they took me to the doctor to find out why, the doctor told everyone that there was a bone disorder called osgood slaughter disease in which the bone under the knee cap grows outward rather than up causing massive pain when walking or sitting, now the pain has spread down the shin to the ankle preventing me from most activity for more than an hour at any given time. and so i thought the disorder was called osgood slaughter disease but all the web sites say it only occurs in children ages 11-15 and i am 20 going on 21 anybody have a similar problem or knows what this is called please any information is greatly appreciated
ps: no money for doctor and does anybody know of a free clinic in san antonio that will help with finding me a job that works around my knee disorder because i know that most jobs don't want to hire somebody for a disability job without medical proof

This does not sound like Osgood-Schlatter disease... I recommend you see a doctor at a teaching hospital that has a free clinic. Here is a site that lists free medical clinics http://www.freemedicalcamps.com/vcamp.php?cityid=183
Osgood-Schlatter disease starts around puberty and gets better naturally... the treatment is rest. This radiating pain of yours sounds a bit more serious. It would be helpful if you could get a hold of your medical records from childhood to determine what really went on. I would guess there is some form of injury to the bone or nerves even, but I am not a doctor. Also, try applying for medicaid so you can get some medical care. Call your local office of health and human services
Good luck
