How does it feel when you have arthritis in your knees?

How does it feel when you have arthritis in your knees? It is hard to explain the sensation/pain in my knees that I am starting to feel more often. I think there are xrays or MRI's to confirm arthritis but I am just starting to think that this might be a possibility.

Arthritis can be difficult to diagnose, because there is not a single test, such as x-rays or MRI's, that can provide a 100% accurate diagnosis.

So, a big part of the diagnosis relies on the patients symptoms and reports that indicate levels of pain, as well as the way it affects your body.

Typically, arthritis will cause joint pain, inflammation, and swelling, which is often worse after exercise or after having been immobile for awhile. Many people experience arthritis pain when they first get up in the morning and again in the evening.

It is a good idea to make a log of when and where you experience pain, as well as after what types of activities. This log will provide some insight for your doctor and help with diagnosis.
