I have had knee problem for 3 years knee pain with inflammation around the knee joint, had three arthroscopes?knee pain with inflammation around the knee joint, had three arthroscopes but Doctors cannot find out the reason for the inflammation, won't consider a knee replacement, synovitis fluid creamy and discoloured no specific infections. Has anyone had similar condition?

I dont know your age but dont go for a knee replacement. The synovial fluid being discolored and creamy has me leery, something the doctors should diagnosis rather than dismiss. Have you seen a sports medicine doctor? S/he may be more helpful. I'm thinking the creamy look may be the white cells of infection, but there may be open communication between the bone and a surrounding structure-with either one being infected.
