Im having problems with my knee locking up?

Im having problems with my knee locking up?Whenever I bend my knee all the way, it clicks and locks in place and will not unbend. It is one of the most painful things I have ever felt, it may just be worse that getting kicked in the balls.
Thats how much it hurts.
