Can i get crutches from a clicking knee?Yesterday i was in the kitchen when all of a sudden my knee clicked really loudly and since then my knee keeps clicking and i am having trouble walking.
Do i need crutches?

It sounds like a good idea. If it hurts to walk on it. The crutches would help you get around a lot easier and prevent further damage to your knee. If the cartilage is torn then using crutches would help. You might want to get a knee immobilizer on ebay to help keep the knee from bending as well.

The tendon that is attached to your kneecap has shortened itself up, a common thing that tendons like to do. If you do the following muscle releasing techniques, you should be able to walk without crutches and without clicking or trouble walking:
Kneecap: (Use a chair that has no cross members on it.)
While sitting start with your leg out in front of you extended out to a comfortable length. Wrap your hands around it so you have a good two inches working area. Place your thumbs about two inches behind your knee and press into the top middle of your leg hard and hold. Relax. After 30 seconds, slowly slide that leg back until it is pulled up under the chair as far as you can make it go. Then release the pressure but hold your leg there for one minute longer.
