Knee Disorders: What is a good way to rehab Bursa sac inflammation of the knee?

What is a good way to rehab Bursa sac inflammation of the knee?I have gotten bursa sac inflammation in both of my knees. My athletic director says it's because my knees are hitting the ground a lot. How do i rehab it.

I would suggest seeing a doctor about it and look into occupational therapy and a brace.
