Small sharp knee pain when bending or putting pressure?About 4-5 months ago, a very small spot on my right knee(upper and slightly off the knee cap) started to hurt a little but not much. It basically only hurts when I bend down and back up, jumping and landing with pressure, or just simply anything with bending and putting slight pressure. So I brushed it off thinking it was just for the moment but instead it began to hurt even more as 2 weeks went by. Also, sometimes I can see the small bump where the pain is coming from but sometimes i can't even find the bump. I'm sure its not arthritis since i am only 19 and do play sports. I can walk fine and feel almost no pain. So after deciding to see the doctor, the pain went away slowly and to my surprise, its back again and slowly hurting more slowly.

i had a "bakers cyst" that would come out and sometimes go back in. but, the cyst usually occurs because there's a problem with the joint! i would advise going to an orthopedic and getting this checked out. your pain is there to tell you somethings going on, it may be "growing pains," but it could be a sign that something more is wrong. a dr. should tell you!!!

I am dealing with an injured knee too, and I went and had an MRI, and saw the pictures of my knee, and now I have to have surgery, as I tore my cartilage on my knee. Do not mess around when it comes to the knee joint, have it x-rayed, so you will know what is going on in there. good luck.
