Weird knee pain after exercise?

Weird knee pain after exercise?Whenever I run or jump or just play sports there's this pain in my knee just under my kneecap and above my shin on both legs. I don't know what this is and is there any way that I can treat it? Right now I'm just putting ice on it after but it hurts when I walk after for about two hours.

This might sound a little nuts, but when I was having knee pain like that, it turned out to be a hip injury. Turns out, several hip injuries manifest themselves as knee injuries since the wieght gets shifted downwards, which I didn't even know until after I was diagnosed.

If ice isn't helping, have a doctor do an exam on your knee, and maybe even your hip joint. It worked for me. : )

You would need X-rays as that is more than just a strain. Still, to be honest I don't think a doctor would take it seriously, if you are young.

Certainly many stretching exercise would help, but you might actually hear cracking in your knee as the patella/knee cap is allowed to move without support, from possibly torn ligament.

See a doctor/orthopaedic specialist who cares.
