"ESSENDON has lost two players to serious knee injuries in the first quarter of the match against Carlton at the MCG. The Bombers lost midfielder Jason Winderlich early in the first quarter to what appears to be a serious knee injury. Winderlich's slipped in the flow of play and came up holding his left knee.
