anyone out here play sports especially basketball with an arthritic knee? if so what is it like?i just found out that i have an arthritic knee from years of sports. but my doc says that you could still play but i am a little nervous. any advice

i am only thirteen and i have arthritic knee!!!
usually it is not to bad. I have a knee brace that a wear which takes the pain away. Sometimes I use Bengay to numb it. It is usually fine but sometimes it hurts so bad that i sit out for a little while.

I don't have one of those but I can't help but think it must be like taking a civil service exam with a migraine headache.
