Are there any organizations that help fund pet surgeries?

Are there any organizations that help fund pet surgeries? We have an adorable "teady bear" of a pit bull that my daughter rescued from a roadside ditch as a pup - he is her shadow - he has a genetic disorder and needs surgery on both knees. We can't affor it - it is approx $ 400 per knee - are there any organizations that help?

IT DEPENDS WHERE YOU ARE...MORE SPECIFICALLY WHAT COUNTRY....

HEY, BE PROACTIVE, FIND BROCHURES, ASK PEOPLE AND IM SURE YOU'LL FIND SOMETHING

Maybe the "RSPCA" or "ASPCA"

- Like a Fox
The blue cross.
We have it in Ireland so i presume there would be a group in the US as there is also one in the UK, like the red cross it's probably world wide, they have veterinary surgeries for people on lower income.
SPCA groups will usually charge the same as most vets.
