Knee Disorders: Can you walk with torn knee ligaments?

Can you walk with torn knee ligaments?I was just wondering, because I saw Tom Brady the QB walking off the field, but they say he tore some ligaments. Wouldn't that be extremely painful and damaging if you do that?

You can walk with them and yes they are very painful and yes you could do more damage.

yes a torn ligament is extremely painful, however u may still be able to walk with a torn ligament...

they are saying that tom brady tore his ACL and based on the way that he was injured it is very possible...

also if the ligament is completely ruptured then it will not as painful as a partial tear this is because once the ligament is completely rutured u also will have nerve damage and may not feel any pain after the initial tearing occurs
