Knee Disorders: How to treat sore knees that are not swollen?

How to treat sore knees that are not swollen?I searched, and most treatments say use ice on swollen knees, but they're not swollen, just sore. Mainly from running I guess....what should I do? Thanks!

I ran in to this one myself... well, not personally, but my ex-fiancee... turns out that if she fellated me while I was laying down her knees started feeling better almost instantly.

Hmm.

Just a thought.

- Butterfly
Ice (numbs the pain for a bit) and Ibuprophen or Tylenol for pain

Heat helps my knees when they hurt... A heating pad does wonders. Also take some tylenol. It will help alot also. Good luck!

stop running as much....soak your knees in warm water and massage them. and drink milk because you can have strong bones in your knees. also take vitamins if you have so any chemilcal recations in the body will be corectly done. hope this helps. also take tylenol or advil to help bring down the pain.

If you suspect from running then take a couple Aspirin or Ibuprofen and get plenty of rest, if it is overuse then a few days resting will do the job with Aspirin for pain relief.
