Locking my knee's during formation can cause me to pass out?I was told by one of my fellow soldiers today that locking you're knee's while in formation restricts blood flow and can cause you to pass out/faint.
True or False?
Whats a solution?

Yes if you lock your knees you can pass out. To avoid this just keep them slightly flex or just lift your heels a little bit now and again.

It true; happens all the time. Don't lock you knees

Very true! Been there, done that!
Solution: Simply don't lock your knees. You can also tighten and relax most of the muscles in your body without showing any motion, particularly in your legs where it will do the most good and prevent blood from pooling in your extremities.

You see... this is something (i believe) depends on the person. I've stood at attention for nearly 3 1/2 hours knees locked and not once did i feel like passing out. But i have seen people beef pretty hard also. So True and False and a remedy is already taken by answers above me.
