Knee pain and stiffness after hot tub?Can anyone tell me why my knees are stiff and painful after being in the hot tub for 10 -15 minutes? For this reason I no longer use a hot tub, funny thing is that using a sauna is fine.

Congratulations, for stop taking a tub bath, No one should do the things that are pain full.
This can happen to a person if the tub is small and or the person is very tall.
This people have to bend the knee to fit in the tub, this pinches the major blood Supply Vessel, and cuts the circulation and so the knee pains and gets very stiff too.
Lucky for you the Sauna is fine for you as you can move around more and do not have to take a position that may cut off blood.
